Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Lahore
When a tax or business dispute cannot be settled informally, Legal Visionaries represents clients before the Lahore High Court, tax appellate forums, and arbitral tribunals. Where it serves the client better, we pursue negotiation or mediation first.
Our dispute work grows out of our tax and corporate practice, so we focus on tax litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and commercial contract disputes.
What we handle
Tax litigation
Appeals before the Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, and tax references before the Lahore High Court.
Writ petitions

Shareholder and partnership disputes
Disputes between shareholders, directors, and partners, including deadlock, exit, and mismanagement claims.
Commercial contract disputes
Claims for recovery, breach of contract, and enforcement of commercial agreements.
Arbitration
Representation in arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 1940, and drafting arbitration clauses that work when a dispute arises.
Negotiation and mediation
Structured settlement negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes without the cost and delay of full litigation.
Frequently asked questions
Is arbitration faster than going to court in Pakistan?
It often can be, and it is private, but it depends on the arbitration clause, the arbitrator, and whether the award is later challenged in court. We advise on whether arbitration or litigation suits the particular dispute.
Can a tax dispute be settled without litigation?
Sometimes. The Income Tax Ordinance provides an Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee mechanism for certain tax disputes, and many issues can be resolved at the hearing or appeal stage with the right documentation.
